Monitoring section with Cue and Talkback capabilities.
Monitoring section : let you choose both source and level to your loudspeakers (connected on the rear connectors).
Source for monitoring :
- mix : internal wiring from M2M or M2U or from front panel DB25 connector input ;
- ext : any two tracks source from front panel DB25 connector (typically these days : any MP3 player) ;
- cue : signal feeding the cue section of the module.
Mono switch.
Cues section : permit to send a balance betwen the mix input (internal or DB25 connection) and an auxiliary input (on front panel DB25 connector) to an external headphone amplifier. This section output appear on the front panel DB25 connector (see wiring diagram).
For example during a recording session, you can use the auxiliary input for a vocal processor return to adjust quickly and efficiently the balance betwen the mix level and the vocal reverb for a vocalist performance.
Talkback mic to cues.
Embedded headphone section.
Cue / Mon selector :
- Cue mode (performer mode) miror the cues section output into the internal headphone amp (including talkback) ;
- Monitor mode (engineer mode) miror the monitor section output into the internal headphone amp (including talkback).
